Saturday, June 6 - We said goodbye to the Galilee and drove to Nazareth and visited the Church of the Annunciation
and then on to Nazareth Village where we had the opportunity to visit an open air museum like the one where Jesus would have grown up,
Next was a new stop at Bet She'arim which is a burial cave that is full of sarcophagus, Steven had to try one out.

Then it was on along the coast to Mount Carmel and remembered all the Elijah stories from the Old Testament.
After driving through the Jezrel Valley
we arrived at Meggido which is mentioned in the book of Revelation as the site of the final battle between good and evil.
Next onto Ceasarea by the Sea where we began to understand the Roman life at the time of Jesus.
A stop for ice cream
This evening we got our first glimpse of the Holy City and celebrated with the Order of Melchizedek.
We checked into the Ramat Rachel for the balance of our stay.
